Dr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information and Computer Science (ICS) at KFUPM. Dr. Mahfuz received his Ph.D. in Computer Science degree from the University of Manitoba, Canada. He also completed his M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Manitoba and received awards from the Canadian Provincial Government. Since his joining KFUPM, Dr. Mahfuz has devoted himself to teaching and research with his students. He has taught a wide range of courses and has engaged himself with various research projects.  His current research is in the fields of blockchain and cybersecurity, cloud and edge computing, IoT and pervasive computing, machine learning, etc. He is also affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Research Canter for Intelligent Secure Systems (IRC-ISS) at KFUPM. He has published many research articles in refereed journals and international conferences.
