Dr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Information and Computer Science (ICS) at KFUPM. Dr. Mahfuz received his Ph.D. in Computer Science degree from the University of Manitoba, Canada. He also completed his M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Manitoba and was a recipient of awards from Canadian Provincial Government. Since his joining at KFUPM, Dr. Mahfuz has devoted himself in teaching and research with his students. He has taught a wide range of courses and has engaged himself with various research projects.  His current research is in the field of cloud and edge computing, IoT and pervasive computing, systems security, etc. He is also affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Intelligent Secure Systems at KFUPM. He has published a good number of research articles in the refereed journals and international conferences. His research areas include Cloud and Edge computing, IoT and Pervasive Computing, Systems Security, etc.
