Sajjad Mahmood received his Ph.D. from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. Before pursuing his Ph.D., he also worked as a software engineer in the United States and Australia. He taught and designed several courses related to software engineering at KFUPM. His research areas include empirical software engineering, evidence-based software engineering, global software development, secure software development, software process improvement, and AI-based Software Engineering.
