The contest will last for five hours (10:00 AM to 03:00 PM). Contestants should not leave the competition before 03:00 PM.
Only undergraduate students are allowed to participate in the contest. A team will be disqualified if the organizing committee discovers that one of its members has already graduated.
The coaches of the teams are not allowed to communicate with their team for the duration of the contest.
The teams are not allowed to communicate with other teams in the contest room, even if they are from the same university.
Each university can participate with a maximum of three teams. If a university has separate campuses, then each campus can register a maximum of two teams. This is subject to the availability of spots. Register early to ensure your team’s spot in the contest.
Each team can register between three to four members. However, only three members (maximum) are allowed to participate on the contest day. The fourth member is allowed by the organizing committee as a reserve for each team just in case one of the team members cannot participate for any reason.
Each team should solve as many problems as possible from a set of problems on a single computer using Java, C, C++, or Python.
Machine-readable code or devices like computers, pocket calculators, mobile devices, CDs, flash memories, floppy disks, and any other digital media are not allowed in the contest hall.
Teams are not allowed to access the Internet or any third-party sources for the duration of the contest.
What is allowed in the contest room? Rebooting the computers under any special circumstances during the contest must be done with the presence of an invigilator.

A single book (which can be printed out, as long as copyright rules are satisfied) is allowed per team. Multi-volume books will be considered as separate books and they will not be allowed in the contest room.
The team reference document, where the contestants are allowed to assemble into a single document the material that they think is most relevant for the contest. It may include listings and/or algorithms, but it is limited to a maximum of 25 single-sided A4 pages. The pages must be numbered in the upper right-hand corner, and the contestant's university name should be printed in the upper left-hand corner. Text and illustrations must be readable by a person with correct eyesight without magnification from a distance of 1/2 meter. Handwritten content may appear on the front of the pages, but the back must be completely empty.
The material to be used in the contest should be left in the contest room on April 18th, 2025, on the table allocated for the team. The material will be checked to ensure that all rules are followed; failing to do so, the material will be removed from the hall.
For the teams who didn’t come on the first day of the contest i.e., 18th April, they need to arrive at the contest venue on the second day at least one hour in order to complete the registration and allow organizers to check their material.

Solutions to problems are judged by running them using the judge's test cases, which would be different from the test cases provided in the contest question. The contest judges are solely responsible for determining the correctness of the submitted solutions; their decision is final.
